Why do i farm?
Farming has benefits when it comes to shaping the minds of kids. Farming teaches kids great motivation, good work ethic, kindness, leadership, and several other aspects that make a well-rounded individual. I have lived my whole life working on a farm. I have been in tractors and combines since I was only two months old. Now after 18 years, I cannot imagine growing up any differently. Farming has taught me everything I know, especially that hard work truly does pay off. Working long days, early morning to late night to get the benefits from the year's work. Farmers do not get paid every week or every other week like a normal job. Farmers get paid once a year. The harder you work and the more time you put in increases the benefits you get (that paycheck). I have also learned never to give up. If something does not go as planned then I do not stop, I find a way to fix it and keep going. One of the most important things farming has taught me is the true act of kindness. I
